It started with selling cold-pressed fruit and vegetable juice on a wood-paneled food truck in Malibu. I loved it.
The next summer, I would go on to intern at the corporate office, conducting market research and ideating on the next big idea.
What can we do with juice? we thought. Make it bigger, make it smaller. Heat it up, cool it down.
Soon after, Freeze, the beloved vegan soft-serve treat was born. I spent the summer working with the team, testing and refining until the consistency was perfect. We defined flavors, toppings, designed and delivered training for the crew, and officially launched at the Palo Alto Shopping Center in summer 2014
It was a formative and incredibly rewarding experience that I’ll forever be grateful for having played a small part in.
